Animation film based on Ohashi Hiroyuki's original story "ONGAKU". Director Iwaisawa Kenji spent seven years hand-drawing 40,000-plus frames using the rotoscope technique of tracing live-action footage. Won the Grand Prize for Feature Animation at the 43rd Ottawa International Animation Film Festival.
Delinquent student Kenji (voice: Sakamoto Shintaro) has never touched a musical instrument, but on a whim he forms a band with Ota (voice: Maeno Tomoya) and other underachievers.
