This is a side story to the popular Kyoto Animation-produced anime "Violet Evergarden" revolving around a young girl burdened with the task of writing on someone's behalf, sometimes called an 'Auto Memory Doll'. At the helm is Fujita Haruka who served as series animation supervisor under television series director Ishidate Taichi.
Isabella York (voice: Kotobuki Minako) attends a girls' school which only accepts children from respectable families. Isabella makes a promise with her father, but has lost hope for the future. Then Violet (voice: Ishikawa Yui), who has been employed as a tutor, presents herself to Isabella.
