Filmmaker Soda Kazuhiro, who received international praise for Campaign and Peace returns with his ninth "observational" documentary. Yamamoto Masatomo, the psychiatrist around which the 2008 film Mental revolved, is once again the subject of this film which won the documentary Ecumenical Jury Award of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival's Forum section.
Doctor Yamamoto decided to retire at the age of eighty-two and begin a new life with his wife Yoshiko. His life after devoting himself to psychiatric treatment is portrayed with deep affection and respect.
