Director Miike Takashi depicts the events of a single intense night in this original story. Selected for Directors' Fortnight at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.
Kabukicho, Shinjuku's red-light district. Katsuragi Leo (Kubota Masataka) is a destitute pro boxer with no family who helps Monica (Konishi Sakurako), a girl whose parents got her hooked on drugs. He's dragged into hanging out with Monica and is soon engulfed by the feuds of desperados like the yakuza, an evil cop, and the Chinese mafia.
