[ Story ]

Tsutsumi Yukihiko, who has helmed many hit films, directs this live-action adaptation of Naoki Prize-winning author, Shimamoto Rio's novel. The thriller depicts a certified psychologist delving into the mental state of a murderer who killed without a motive.
A female university student, Kanna (Yoshine Kyoko), dreamed of becoming a TV announcer but instead stabs her father to death. Certified psychologist, Yuki (Kitagawa Keiko), is requested to write a book about this crime and therefore meets Kanna face-to-face. Though she is at the mercy of Kanna's ambiguous testimony, the two continue to stay in touch. As Kanna's mental state becomes clear, Yuki is made to confront memories she has buried in her own heart.
