[ Story ]

An adaptation of popular writer Shizukui Shuusuke's novel of the same name scripted by Okudera Satoko of Rebirth. The House Where the Mermaid Sleeps director, Tsutsumi Yukihiko, explores the theme of a family's extreme love in this suspense-thriller.
The envy of all, the Ishikawa household is an affluent family of four consisting of licensed architect Kazuto (Tsutsumi Shinichi), his wife Kiyomi (Ishida Yuriko), high school son Tadashi (Okada Kenshi), and daughter Miyabi (Kiyohara Kaya). Then one day, their happy life takes a sudden turn after Tadashi stays out overnight without permission. The murder of Tadashi's classmate comes to light as is Tadashi's possible involvement.
