Film adaptation of the same-named stage play from 2018 that was a huge hit for the far-out plot. Theater production director Suzuki Osamu helms this dance battle for nirvana pitting a novice monk against zombies.
Habuki (Yamashita Kenjiro) abandons his dreams of becoming a dancer and signs up for ascetic training at a mountain temple in Hachioji for some soul searching. Nighttime visits to the abandoned temple in back are strictly forbidden, but his passion for dance propels him to break the rules. There, he finds a group of eight good-looking zombies.
