The team of director Lee Toshio and Yasuda Ken of When I Get Home, My Wife Always Pretends to Be Dead unite again for this comedy.
45-year-old Haruo (Yasuda) is a typical stay-at-home dad who works at Umeya, a supermarket crowded with local customers. Though Haruo appears unexceptional, he is exacting both at work and at home, yet his well-meaning intentions backfire on him. As the unbearable days go on, a crisis arises at Umeya. Rumors circulate that Haruo is going to be made manager.
