Mystery that adapts Akutagawa Prize-winning author Hirano Keiichiro's same-named novel about the source of human identity. Director Ishikawa Kei has earned accolades internationally for Gokuroku - Traces of Sin and Listen to the Universe.
Attorney Kido (Tsumabuki Satoshi) gets an unusual request from Rie (Ando Sakura) to investigate the identity of her deceased husband Daisuke. He died in an accident, and at the memorial service Daisuke's older brother Kyoichi (Mashima Hidekazu) tells her that the husband she'd loved was not Daisuke, but someone else entirely.
