Sako Dai directed renowned actor Osugi Ren's final performance in The Chaplain and spent nine years on the original script for this story about despair and hope for two men.
Two men work at a scrapyard factory in the boonies. Akimoto Taichi (Adachi Tomomitsu) is a gawky guy in his forties and Taniguchi Wataru (Tamaoki Reo) is dissatisfied with life at home but somehow gets along in the world. Their lives are peaceful but dull until the night an unexpected event changes their destinies.
