[ Story ]

Morita Yoshimitsu directed and penned the script for this adaptation of Yoshimoto Banana's same-named novel. Depicts a girl without a family of her own who loves the kitchen and lives with an eccentric young man and his family.
Mikage (Kawahara Ayako) lived with her grandmother after her parents died when she was a young child, but then her grandmother passes away too. She has been sleeping by the refrigerator in the kitchen. One day, her friend Yuichi (Matsuda Keiji) kindly lets her live with him. At the apartment, she embarks on life with Eriko (Hashizume Isao), who is Yuichi's father crossdressing as a woman.
