[ Story ]
Japanese-French coproduced feature-length animation based on the comic by Imashiro Takashi. The vivid characters were created using director Kuno Yoko's rotoscope animation of the live-action footage shot by a team led by director Yamashita Nobuhiro.
Anzu (Moriyama Mirai), a kitten rescued and lovingly raised by a temple priest, grows up to be a 37-year-old shape-shifting cat who can speak using human language. One day, the priest's son returns to the temple with his 11-year-old daughter, Karin (Goto Noa).
