Film adaptation of Asai Ryo's same-named best seller. Wilderness director Kishi Yoshiyuki reunites with screenwriter Minato Takehiko for this vivid drama about the intersecting lives of five people with varied backgrounds.
Terai Keiki (Inagaki Goro) is a prosecutor in Yokohama who butts heads with his wife about how to handle the education of their son, who has stopped going to school. Kiryu Natsuki (Aragaki Yui) is a sales clerk who lives uneventfully with her parents, and she finds out that Sasaki Yoshimichi (Isomura Hayato), who switched schools in junior high, is back in town.
