Director Yamashita Nobuhiro teams up for the first time with screenplay writer Kudo Kankuro for this remake of the 2020 Taiwanese romance My Missing Valentine with the male and female roles reversed.
Hajime (Okada Masaki) works at the post office and always does things a beat faster than everyone else. He asks his crush Sakurako, a street musician, on a date but wakes up to find it's the next day. Then Reika (Kiyohara Kaya) shows up at the post office. She's a beat slower than everyone else and realizes that she holds the secret to the missing day.
