Feature-length animation film from Production I.G based on the same-named manga by Nishimura Tsuchika, who is also a book decorator and illustrator. Cutting-edge animator Itazu Yoshimi makes his debut as feature film animation director.
Akino (Kawaida Natsumi) begins working as a concierge trainee at the Hokkyoku Department Store, an unusual establishment where all of the customers are animals. With help from her more experienced co-workers, she bustles about the store to assist customers with all kinds of problems.
