[ Story ]
The third film in the "Kingdom" series, adapted from the manga of the same name by Hara Yasuhisa, was the top-grossing live-action Japanese film of 2023.
The time is B.C., the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period. A young boy, Shin (Yamazaki Kento), meets the young king of Qin, Eisei (Yoshizawa Ryo), and together they pursue their dream of unifying China. At the time, a large army from neighboring Zhao attacks. Eisei appoints legendary general Ohki (Osawa Takao) as his commander-in-chief. Shin becomes the captain of 100 soldiers, and Ohki gives them a special mission and the name: the Flying Squad.
