[ Story ]
Documentary by Fukunaga Takeshi, who directed an episode of "SHOGUN," following an Ainu family he met while making his second feature film Ainu Mosir.
Amanai Shigeki (Shige) lives in Shiranuka, Hokkaido. While living a modern life, he practices the Ainu customs known as "Ainu puri" and passes down traditional salmon fishing techniques and culture to his son Motoki. The camera follows the daily lives of Shige and his family, capturing their way of life as they honor their roots while living in the present day.
