[ Story ]
A cynical comedy set in Kyoto. Directed by Tominaga Masanori, known for works such as Between the White Key and the Black Key and Pumpkin and Mayonnaise.
Madoka (Fukagawa Mai), who comes from Tokyo is married to the eldest son of a long-established Kyoto fan shop. Madoka, a freelance writer, decides to turn the way of life at an old-established shop boasting centuries of history into a comic essay, so she begins interviewing the city's proprietresses. However, she underestimates Kyoto's culture of "honest feelings and pretense," and ends up incurring their wrath.
