Feature-film directorial debut from Iwaya Takuro, who has worked as an assistant director for Miyake Sho and Yamato Yuki. Coming-of-age film with graphic violence based on Iwaya's own screenplay that won the rookie award at a pitch competition.
Childhood buddies Tomii (Shimizu Hiroya) and Kanamori (Takasugi Mahiro) spent their teen years together, but a certain incident sends them on different life paths. Tomii joins the Sugahara yakuza syndicate and Kanemori belongs to a criminal organization, putting them in a volatile antagonistic relationship.
