[ Story ]
A film version of the stage drama by popular script writer Kudo Kankuro, who won the Kishida Kunio Drama Award in 2004. The director is Hosono Hideaki who has established works in TV commercials and music videos. It humorously depicts the tangled web of events that take place among the people in the life of a mysteriously disappeared novelist called Totsukawa (Asano Tadanobu). Shizuka (Maki Yoko), his editor, seeks out the writer in his hometown of Tokiwa City. She questions host club manager Eda (Kitamura Kazuki) and policeman Okamoto, who used to be Totsukawa's classmates. Gradually, she comes to understand the unexpected ties that bind them together.
