[ Story ]
Beginning with a young man who becomes disillusioned with the standardized nursing care system and starts a service in an ordinary home, this documentary features four independent welfare facilities and their unique attempts to help those that have fallen through the cracks of the welfare system. The film presents an unadulterated everyday portrayal of the welfare staff, the senior citizens receiving care, and their families. Director Omiya Koichi has also worked as a producer on Have a Nice Year (Yoi Otoshi o), a documentary that featured "Genki na Kame-san," the welfare facility combining daycare services for children and care for the elderly, which also appears in this work.
