[ Story ]
Documentary revealing the personal life of Nagamine Yasuko, pioneer of flamenco in Japan. Directed by Omiya Koichi, highly regarded for films including Tadaima ~ I'm home, a place for everyone, which won the top prize for the Cultural Documentary Award from the Agency for Culture Affairs in 2010.
Nagamine returned to the stage a month following surgery for colon cancer. She lives with over 100 abandoned dogs and cats in her home in Fukushima Prefecture, and does oil paintings of flamenco dancers in the nude. Probes the significance of living through the bare face of a solitary artist.
