This is the 12th production in the Cinema Kabuki series of Kabuki performances filmed using a HD camera. In this original drama by Kudo Kankuro for a Kabuki performance set in the present age, Shiriagari Kotobuki was in charge of the scenery drop curtain design and was also the original manga artist of Yaji and Kita - The Midnight Pilgrims (Mayonaka no Yaji-san Kita-san), also directed by Kudo. Zombies suddenly appear in a town in Edo, but Hansuke (Ichikawa Somegoro) is able to control them using a smelly fish soup. He creates a temporary labor agency of zombies, which is a major success. But doing so triggers a conflict with the workers whose jobs have been stolen and who are now unemployed.
