Film version of the novel of the same title by Len Kawahara, who wrote the screenplay for Time Lost, Time Found (Yomei) and is also known by her multiple talent as a book producer and a translator. Directed by Isomura Itsumichi who is renowned for his emotionally expressive direction, such as in films like Give It All (Ganbatte ikimasshoi) and Milk White (Gege). Izumi (Kitagawa Keiko) survived a traffic accident unhurt but lost her boyfriend Junichi (Okada Masaki). With a help of her lawyer Makiko (Otsuka Nene), Izumi traces her memory of that time. She then finds out an unexpected truth...
