Second installment in the omnibus film series depicting the bonds between people and dogs. Nagasaki Shunichi (The Witch of the West Is Dead), the first Japanese to be invited to the Sundance Institute, and five other directors create works spanning genres including comedy and suspense. Ichiro (Oomori Nao), a translator, lost his pet dog as a child and vowed never to have a pet dog again. In The Dog's Name, his wife Miri (Matsushima Nanako) goes ahead and gets a dog, which gives him emotional solace as he succumbs to illness.
