The second live action adaptation of Fukumoto Nobuyuki's manga about gambling. Based on the third chapter "Swamp of Desire" in the original, the film thrillingly depicts the protagonists' battle for survival as they aim for a big payout. Fukumoto himself helped write the script, and a game made for the movie is included as well. Kaiji (Fujiwara Tatsuya) finds himself yet again mired in debt and decides to go after the "swamp," a monster machine that pays out over one billion yen. But, it is operated by his fated opponent Ichijo (Iseya Yusuke).
