[ Story ]
A documentary that looks back on the Great East Japan Earthquake from the perspectives of public health nurses who support the wellbeing of people in the affected regions. Its main staff are Todori Takuya and Todori Shinya, who make documentary films centered in communities of the northeast Tohoku region of Honshu.
In September of 2011, six months after the Great East Japan Earthquake, veteran public health nurse Kikuchi Shoko set off on a journey to document the realities of life in the disaster-hit areas. She visited Ishinomaki City in Miyagi Prefecture and Otsuchi Town in Iwate Prefecture which suffered immense tsunami damage, as well as nine municipalities in Fukushima Prefecture that were evacuated due to the nuclear accident, and talked with other public health nurses about their activities in the wake of the disaster.
