[ Story ]

The first of the two-part live action adaptation of Isayama Hajime's battle fantasy manga. Depicts a shocking world where titans eat humans, with original elements introduced in the film version. Director Higuchi Shinji has worked on numerous anime and special effects films.
A century has passed since the titans made their sudden appearance and humans fled behind gigantic walls to escape. Memories of the tragic past have started to fade, and the footloose youth Eren (Miura Haruma) yearns for the world beyond the walls. But one day, an enormous titan breaches the wall and invades the town. The titans start devouring people.
