Koshikawa Michio, whose film Areno was featured in the Japanese Cinema Splash program at the 28th Tokyo International Film Festival, delivers a love story set immediately after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. The film was shot entirely through sessions where the cast and crew discussed the shots and performances and the actors improvised all of the dialogue.
The earthquake has turned Shibuya into a gloomy place. Homeless sex worker Miri (Tamura Ai) meets a robot (Emoto Tasuku) that has been discarded as industrial waste, and they decide to spend the night together.
