This documentary looks back on the unprecedented life of Akatsuka Fujio, the nationally beloved manga artist known for 'Osomatsu-kun', 'The Genius Bakabon', among others. Guiding the viewer is the character from what is said to be Akatsuka's crowning masterwork, 'Let's-la Gon'. Akatsuka's life, from his early years of struggle to his golden age as a manga artist and his leap to the entertainment world, is presented through interviews with those who knew him, unseen television programs, and a wealth of other materials including audio recordings of Akatsuka, private videos and treasured photographs.
