[ Story ]

Drama portraying the profound love between a daughter and mother through the birthday cards that arrive each year from the mother after her death. Direction and screenplay by Yoshida Yasuhiro of Leaving on the 15th Spring.
Noriko (Hashimoto Ai) is a shy girl who adores her kind mother Yoshie (Miyazaki Aoi). However, Yoshie gets sick and passes away when Noriko is 10 years old. Yoshie knows her death is approaching and promises to send a letter for Noriko's birthday each year until she turns 20 years old, and just as promised, a letter arrives each year.
