[ Story ]
Third film in the 'RAILWAYS' series about local railroads that celebrates humanity. Set on the Hisatsu Orange Railway in Kyushu, the film depicts the rebirth of a family unrelated by blood who have lost a loved one.
Akira's (Arimura Kasumi) husband has passed away, and she visits her father-in-law's home in Kagoshima Prefecture with her stepson. Her father-in-law Setsuo (Kunimura Jun) is a train conductor and doesn't know how to deal with the death of his estranged son, this first meeting with his son's wife, and the existence of his grandchild. But, they begin living together. Then, Akira decides to become a train conductor, which was her husband's childhood dream.
