Documentary about the lives of Japan's first female photojournalist and a legendary newspaper reporter who still are on the job at age 101. Directed by Kawamura Atsunori, who has won numerous awards as a director of NHK programs including "The Tibetan Book of the Dead."
Photojournalist Sasamoto Tsuneko and newspaper reporter Muno Takeji are over a century old. They came of age during the same era, and after World War II they forged their own paths as freelancers. The film overflows the hopes of these two centenarians who have lived life on their own terms and are in possession of authentic wisdom.
