[ Story ]
In this story a young man runs into trouble when he tries to reform his clan's governmental system. The time is 1857 and the feudal government is near collapse from the onslaught of the Imperialist forces. He and his friends flee and find refuge to discover that the gold panned from a stream contributes to their lord's revenue. After a number of adventures the young man, having lost his friends and his sweetheart, goes off to seek his fortune elsewhere.
