[ Story ]

This continues the extremely popular series of pictures about the blind masseur, Zatoichi, who is also one of the most skillful swordsmen in Japan. Here he is again helping the poor and weak and punishing the rich and powerful. While in prison-for being in a gambling den when it was raided- Zatoichi meets a young man who is innocent of the crime for which he has been imprisoned. Though, this means sword-fights and lots of killing, the blind masseur finally unmasks the villain responsible for various murders.
