A drama based on the novel by Kawamura Genki, producer of "your name." among others. The film takes a look at the relationship between money and happiness through the pandemonium of a man who hits the lottery. Directer Otomo Keishi and star Sato Takeru team up for the first time since the "Rurouni Kenshin" series.
Kazuo (Sato Takeru) works nonstop each day to pay off his missing brother's debts. Abandoned also by his wife and child, Kazuo unbelievably obtains 300 million yen through the lottery. For the time being he pays a visit to his entrepreneur friend Tsukumo (Takahashi Issey), but after a night of drinking he wakes to find Tsukumo and the 300 million yen are gone.
