Second of three theatrical film anime adaptations of Karakara Kemuriﾕs popular comic ﾒLaughing Under the Clouds Gaiden.ﾓ Depicts the mysterious fate of the best friend of Tenka, the eldest of the three Kumo brothers.
Tenkaﾕs (voice: Nakamura Yuichi) best friend Shirasu (voice: Sakurai Takahiro) formerly ruled the Fuma clan as the 10th Fuma Kotaro alongside his younger twin brother as they awaited the return of the Orochi demon snake. The twin brothers came into the world as unwanted children, and they are inseparable. Each brother feels what the other experiences, but deep in their hearts they long for what they lack themselves but see in the other person.
