The production staff of Care Nin: Thank God You're Here which dealt with the subject of care workers reassemble for this drama about home medical treatment and caregiving. At the helm is Ayabe Shinya who has worked as an assistant director on Whispering Star and other Sono Sion works.
Masato (Hosoda Yoshihiko) quits his job at a university hospital to take over his ailing father's (Masu Takeshi) medical clinic. At his father's request, he also begins making house calls but having been a top-class physician aspiring to advanced medical research, Masato does so with little interest. And then he meets the family of a patient which completely changes his thinking.
