[ Story ]
Film adaptation of Kono Yutaka's teen fantasy novel, produced by Sugahara Daiki, who turned the "Mr. Osomatsu" stage production into a hit. Cutting-edge Yanagi Akina, who garnered film awards while in high school in the US, was tapped as director.
Nanakusa (Yokohama Ryusei) shows up at Kaidan-shima, an island for people who have been abandoned. He just wants to live in peace and doesn't notice anything odd about the island, but everything changes when he meets his childhood friend Manabe Yu (Iitoyo Marie). His life soon is upended by Yu, who is trying to solve the riddles surrounding the island.
