This is the live-action adaptation of the popular gambling manga series 'Usogui' which has sold over 8.8 million copies. It depicts a brilliant gambler contending with a dangerous game of death.
Madarame Baku (Yokohama Ryusei), also known as the "Lie Eater" who once was stripped of his membership to the illegal gambling club Kakero, reappears when he hears a rumor that Sadakuni Ikki (Miyura Shohei) is patronizing the club. Kaji Takaomi (Sano Hayato), who was saved from black market loans by Bakku, and illegal casino owner Kurama Ranko (Shiraishi Mai) work together to take on numerous hopeless gambling contests.
