Live-action horror film based on the non-fiction book "Jiko bukken: Kowai madori" by TV entertainer Matsubara Tanishi. Director Nakata Hideo helmed Ring and CHATROOM, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival.
TV entertainer Yamano Yamame (Kamenashi Kazuya) moves into a so-called stigmatized property as part of a deal to get on a TV show. The TV show that he stars in takes off and Yamane moves from one stigmatized property to the next. His popularity skyrockets, but then bizarre things start happening to him.
