Live-action adaptation of the short manga by Yamamoto Naoki. Thrilling portrayal of the relationships among two guys and a girl as they waver between reality and fantasy. Stars Nagase Masatoshi of An, Kubota Masataka of First Love and Konishi Sakurako.
Takasu Akira (Nagase) works as a sculptor in a rundown provincial hot spring town, and during his day job as a mailman he delivers fan mail to a young poet named Penguin (Kubota). They banter with each other every day, but one day Moonlit Night Star (Konishi) shows up and declares that she wants to be Penguin's wife.
