This drama about a lonely girl is helmed by Miyashima Fuka, who garnered attention with her directorial debut Oyashirazu. Nominated for the 18th Osaka Asian Film Festival Competition.
Childhood friends Ai (Nagasawa Itsuki) and Sosuke (Kubozuka Airu) grow up in Hokkaido sheltered by the love of Ai's mother Yumi, but their world collapses with Yumi's death. Ai joins her father in Tokyo but resolves to return to her hometown after encountering homeless and other people living on the fringes of society.
