[ Story ]
This drama deals with emotional healing and recovery on an island in the Seto Inland Sea still undergoing reconstruction after torrential rains. Helmed and scripted by Miyagawa Hiroyuki, who had personal experience with the floods in Western Japan in July of 2018.
Kenji (Higashide Masahiro) makes his living as a fisherman on the island, but has lived in isolation ever since his wife and child died in a landslide. Rinko (Miura Toko) struggled as a teacher and visits the island to see her estranged father (Kobayashi Kaoru). Kenji and Rinko meet on the island and grow close under the protective gaze of meddlesome islanders.
