[ Story ]
Documentary about the Naito family, who live their dream of herding cattle in a mountain town that has a Self Defense Force training facility.
The Japan Ground Self Defense Force Camp Nihonbara is located in Nagi, Okayama Prefecture, a town with 6,000 residents. Naito Hideyuki was studying medicine in the 1960s when he became a cattleman as a way to protest the Self Defense Force, and for the past five decades he has cultivated crops on the SDF camp grounds. The Ministry of Defense has long allowed local residents to enter the camp to tend their fields, but only the Naito family continues to do so.
