Maestro Wim Wenders directs Yakusho Koji in this story about a toilet cleaner. Nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and winner of the Best Actor Award.
Hirayama (Yakusho) cleans toilets in Shibuya, Tokyo. He lives in an old wooden apartment, where he finds joy in small things like listening to his favorite music and reading old books. Then, he has an unexpected encounter.
