Historical epic commemorating Toei's 70th anniversary. A new perspective on the lives of Sengoku (warring states period) warlord Oda Nobunaga and his wife, Nohime. Directed by Otomo Keishi of the "Rurouni Kenshin" series.
Nobunaga (Kimura Takuya) of Owari marries Nohime (Ayase Haruka) of neighboring Mino, an enemy state, for convenience, but the two are combative when they try to turn the other's head in bed. One day, Nobunaga is attacked by Imagawa Yoshimoto's large army and finds himself in a difficult situation, but he is inspired by Nohime and achieves a miraculous victory. The two, united by a strong bond, set out to unite the country.
